Hello! Welcome to my blog! My name is Emily and I grew up in Arizona, went to college at the U of A, raised my kids here, and plan to retire here. I love all things AZ! We have an amazing foodie culture, great people, awesome things to do, and fantastic weather! (Don't let the dry heat scare you ;-)) In Arizona, you can go from a hot desert climate to the rim of the Grand Canyon in two hours, with the beautiful red rocks of Sedona and local wineries in between.
I am a mom to two amazing young adults and an awesome daughter in-law. I have a rescue dog named Lola (and her best friend Archie), love designing and remodeling homes, and I truly enjoy a great meal and a glass of red wine. My boyfriend Ken and I spend our free time going on great adventures and can often be found riding our bikes to brunch in Scottsdale, trying new restaurants, attending local events, or enjoying our beautiful homes in Phoenix, Scottsdale - McCormick Ranch, and Flagstaff.
Our goal is to try new local restaurants and hot spots around town and to support the local flavor that is so amazing and unique to Arizona.
