Weekday recommendations for Scottsdale - McCormick Ranch in AZ!
Ken and I were talking last night and trying to decide where to go for a bite to eat and a fun night out. We realized that it would be super cool to have a reference guide by night of the week for great deals, happy hour specials, live music etc...so we are pulling it together for all of you (and for us so we don't have to try to remember it all ;-)) As you know, some of our AZ favorites are right here in Scottsdale-McCormick Ranch and they are local to AZ so we love to support our community! Follow along as we give you the details and check back as we keep updating this list as new places or specials get added!
Mondays...
The kickoff to the week can be rough as we get back into the groove of the work week, but some of our favorite restaurants have great specials on Monday! Crust Simply Italian serves "simple, yet truly authentic Italian ingredients served with that warm, homey feeling...usually with wine"! Crust is a great Italian spot in McCormick Ranch and they have 1/2 price bottles of wine ALL DAY on Mondays! It does not disappoint!

OK, so Taco Tuesday is DEFINITELY a thing here in AZ! Almost every Mexican restaurant has something related with cheap tacos, cold beer, or delicious margaritas! But a surprise hidden gem that has great nightly specials is one I want to highlight here. The Tavern Grille is a self-proclaimed "friendly and lively neighborhood sports bar and grill with a hunting lodge vibe" and I highly recommend it. Owned and operated by twin local AZ brothers, they have a huge menu of American comfort food. Their Tuesday night specials include $1.99 chicken or beef tacos and $4 Mexican beers. Wednesdays...
Ahh...hump day...this is a great day for getting out of the house and celebrating the "made it halfway" feeling of the week! One of our absolute favorites Pubblico Italian Eatery has a special on Wednesday nights that is worth cheering to! This "go-to spot for classic homemade Italian" offers a $20 special for any bottle of wine in the house (except the Reserve) giving you just the excuse you need to get out and share a bottle of wine and toast to the week! https://www.pubblicoitalianeatery.com/

By Thursday night I am ready for some fun and some live music! Terroir Wine Pub does not disappoint on either topic! They have great happy hour specials and live music several nights a week. Their tagline is "Fine Wines & Sublime Times" and this small, inviting, wine bar is one of the longest lasting wine pubs in AZ! The ambience is chill, their wines rotate frequently, and their menu is amazing! Pro tip: Try the Grown-up Grilled Cheese with buffalo chicken!! Delicious! They also have a Wine Club that gets you 2 bottles of wine each month and 10% off wines in-house. The Weekend...
OK! You made it to the weekend! As you know, brunch is my jam! If you have read any of my previous blogs, you know that we have biked to several great establishments all around Scottsdale and Phoenix. We love to bike to Luci's at The Grove https://lucisgrove.com/ and share a bottle of Prosecco and mimosas on the patio. We have a blast at The Montauk https://www.themontaukaz.com/ and love hanging on the patio and listening to the live music and people watching! Another all-time favorite is Campo Italian Bistro where we love to sit at the bar, enjoy a fantastic bottle of wine and a pizza, and meet new friends! Campo also has live music on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 2pm which makes me love that place even more https://campoitalian.com/ Side note: Campo is participating in the 2022 upcoming Restaurant Week starting May 20th through May 29th and you can enjoy a 3 course meal for $55/person.
